| This seminar will review and update medical providers on selected topics which impact the female patient. Medical and technologic advances, as they pertain to the gynecologic patient, will be discussed. Emphasis will be placed on common office problems, e.g. infertility, ovarian failure, stress urinary incontinence, uterine fibroids and endometriosis. The series will be clinically oriented, but will include basic pathophysiology as well as new technologic advances as they pertain to the gynecologic patient. Upon completion of the course, the participants should be familiar with current recommendations in the care of the female patient including treatment of the abnormal pap smear, pelvic inflammatory disease, genital prolapse and the approach to the patient with abnormal sexual development. The information will be relevant to a wide variety of practitioners, including family medicine, internists, pediatricians and surgeons. |
| Participation in the seminar will be by pre-registration only. |
